IN TIME

“In Time” is an action film starring by Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried with a lot of special effects that it are very powerful. 

The plot is very sophisticated: this is a science-fiction film set in the future where people can live 25 years without complications and they grew up but then they stop ageing and they have only a year of time to live so they have to work to earn time because all it is paid by time so the society is divided in the ones who can live for ever and the ones who have to live for the day, and every day they are nearly out of time. All the people have a counter of time on their wrist. 

About this I think that is very well designed and is very interesting.

Will, that is the main character, is a young boy of 28 year that live for the day in the poor part of the city, and in the beginning of the film her mother died because her times runs out. Then Will meet is in a bar and some boys are trying to steal the time to a rich man, Will help him and bring him to a safe zone. They sleep there. When Will wakes up he has a million of years in his counter and the other man isn’t there. She go to the rich part of the city and there he meet a girl. Meanwhile he is followed for the police, because it’s strange that he have this too much time. Then during the film they escape and she that was a son’s rich man, firs is angry but then she fall in love for him.

I love this film I think it's a very original film and there are I lot of amazing special effects.

I LIKE SELFIES

Selfies have become more and more popular. A selfie is a self-photography often taken with a camera phone and shared in some social networking such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat… 

From my point of view, I like Selfies and I think they are an original way to take a photo, even there are lot of people who say “Selfies” have became typical. Personally I prefer collective Selfies because most of them are funny and really grateful. 

But a lot of people takes it to the extreme, a few month ago I listened on the news a girl died in a traffic accident mean she was trying to take her a selfie. This news made me think a lot and I found it really worrying and dangerous. 

SWEET 17

It sounds strange but I can say I’m seventeen years old! Well… Anything has changed, but I hope in time I could see some changes in my life.

Even it was on Monday and I hadn’t to go to the high school, it was a really special day. I was with all the people that I love and I have to say that it makes me the happiest person in the world. 

My family gave me a special gift; it was a whole day of shopping!! I love this type of gift, because I can buy anything I want. 

At night we celebrated my birthday with all my friends, they prepared me a surprise party. We did a dinner and after it we play bowling , it was a fantastic night and we enjoyed a lot. I want to say they made me a video with some photos since I was a child until now, and it was really nice and it made me cry a lot and they gave me a really special gift that I didn’t expected it; it was the full collection of Disney films. 

JO COX MURDER

The 17th of November, the politician woman Jo Cox had been murdered by a 52 years old man who screamed:”Britain first!”

This happened during a meeting in a library where Cox was doing a constituency meeting. The woman had also been stabbed and shot several times during daylight. An old man took part defending de lady, but he had also received a deep stab on his stomach. The attacker also had bonds with Neo-Nazi,pro-Apartheid and Nationalist groups. 

I think that he did this because he thought that violence was an option against different political opinions, which in my opinion is really sad.

Migrant crisis: Chios island camp in Greece attacked

In this new we can see how a group of people who had thrown petrol bombs, fireworks and stones to a refugee’s camp in Chios Island, Greece. 

At first it looked like a group of greek people who disagree with the idea of having refugees in his island. Then, three suspicious people were arrested and, amazingly they are refugees.

I know it’s a complicated topic, but when I saw the new, I thought it was a good think to talk about, because sometimes the same refugees aren’t comfortable with the fact of being bad treated in the camps, even some of them prefer war rather than living in one of these bad mounted camps.

DONALD TRUMP

The whole world had been amazed with Donald Trump’s winning in the 2016 election. Indeed, it’s a really big surprise, because Hillary was the one who seemed to be the best choice. Anyways, once we had realized that Trump has won, we better look how the other countries had responded to this. In Spain’s case, as we can see in this new, it was a really big surprise, because even Hillary and PP’s ideology are completely different, the last one hoped that Hillary would won, because it would be better for the economy in the whole world. After all, Spain has to start thinking about a plan B, which in this case would be start improvising ways to make new bridges with the USA administration, led by Donald Trump.

MY BEST FRIEND

In this post I want to talk about one of the most special person I have meet in my life. He’s a difficult kind of person to be described, but I want to have a go and I will try to talk a little bit about him.

I have met him four years ago and since then we have remained firm friends. There is no one around me who would be such a nice person like him. Everybody who has met him for the fist time says he’s a extroverted and friendly person. Well, he hasn’t difficulty to talk to unknown people. Then I can say he becomes my best friend. 

He doesn’t know how to hurt a person (I’m not kidding), he always tries to find the best side of his friend and that’s why I love him. Since I met him, he has always remained next to me when I have had a problem, trying to make me happy and help me to carry on with my life, and that’s been very tactful of him. 

He’s an amount of generosity and tolerance and I’m sure I won’t find another friend like him. 

CAN LOVE LAST FOREVER?

“Romantic love, which they defined as love with intensity, engagement, and sexual interest, can exist in long-term relationships”. 

Do you think love can last forever? 

Well, I know this topic is not easy to talk about but I found it really interesting. I’m only 16 years old and I haven’t so much experience about love, even though I think love can make you feel incredible things in life.

“Blue Valentine” is a movie that shows how love can deteriorate. It talks about story of a couple; they have been for a long time loved each other but at the end, they realized their love is finished and we can see the dissolution of their marriage. 

I know it’s difficult to find a person that you can fall in love for the rest of your life but I believe in love and in my opinion I think if you find the perfect person for you, your love can last forever.

This song is a protest song, it’s a punk one. I like this song because it remembers me that some things are to be changed. Also it has some critics to our society.

The title of the song makes reference to the code the americans and the english people used when they communicate each other during second world war. 

For example in this verse we can see how criticizes the police brutality.

EMAIL TO TEACHER

Hello my name is Bruna, I am 16 years old and I’ve just started 1st of Batxillerat. The truth is, that I am very afraid to begin this new year. I think that what fears me the most is to fail any subject, repeat the year, or not to achieve the marks I want to. 

I am a person who gets stressed very quickly and needs to know that everything is under control, and when this is not this way (which doesn't happen really often, because I'm very lazy), I start to panic and ending up doing things badly and hastily. 

I also consider myself a very sensitive person, I cry for anything and everything affects me, even though I can hide it very well.

One of my virtues would be that I have patience with children, talking to people or just doing something, I have a lot of patience 

What more I apply in my life currently would be the expression “ New brush sweeps clean but old broom knows all the corners” because I'm always afraid to do new things and meet new people, but when I dare I never regret of it, because I always know wonderful people and do amazing things.

Another thing about me is that I am very proud, is very difficult for me say sorry, so if some day I ask you forgiveness is that I really care about you and I am very sorry.

I am a home-loving girl, I prefer staying at home with any friend or with my boyfriend, than going out party. 

More aspects about me: my  favorite food is definitely the hamburger. A funny anecdote about this, is that the last time I went to United States, I spent almost each day of the trip eating burgers, I know that not is healthy but I love it!!

I would like to have a dog, this summer I wanted to adopt one, but my stepfather doesn't let me because I have a 4 years old sister and my parents  are afraid of having an animal at home, but when I have my own house I will adopt one.
